The European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) confirms both D3 & K2 vitamins are needed for the synthesis of osteocalcin (calcium binding protein) in the osteoblasts (cells that create new bones). Calcium & magnesium contribute to normal muscle function & help maintain bones & teeth. Vit D aids with absorption of calcium, maintenance of normal bones & blood calcium. Zinc aids in maintenance of hair, skin & nails & contributes to normal function of immune system.
